Interested in contributing to Badresa? Here are the details of what we are looking for: 1) Music Reviews: We currently focus on the local Chicago area music scene. If you would like to review an album by a Chicago area band, please contact us to let us know what you will be reviewing. We try to keep our reviews positive, so if you just want to bash an album, this site is not for you. Please make sure you have listened to the album you are reviewing a minimum of 3 times. 2) Book Reviews: If you recently read a book that you absolutely want others to read, then write a brief review and submit it to us. We are always looking for reviews on new books! 3) Restaurant & Food Reviews: Badresa and the rest of the Badresa crew love dining out, but sometimes we don’t have nearly enough time to write about some of our favorite places to eat. We encourage that anyone interested in writing a restaurant review, visit the restaurant at least 3 times to give as much of a detailed review of the food and atmosphere as possible. 4) Interviews: We started Badresa with the intention of interviewing local bands as part of a regular feature. If you are interested in trying to help set up an interview with a local band or artist, please let us know. The more help we have, the more interviews we can have! 5) Music Column: If there is a music fest or other music event you would like to write about, please contact us to let us know. Do you just want to tell us about your love of going to shows or the memories of seeing bands before they were the in thing? Write us! 6) City Column: Chicago is our home, and we love it here. So we like to tell people about all the things to do in Chicago, and why we don’t want to leave. We are looking for more contributors to help out for our City Column. The City Column focuses on anything and everything related to the Windy City. 7) Deadlines for all submissions: Any submissions for the website must be received by the second Sunday of every month. We are currently publishing new issues every other month. We would like to increase that and publish new content on a monthly basis. Depending on the number of Music reviews received, we may hold a review to be published the following month. We will publish one new Music & City Column each month. Books and Restaurant Reviews will be updated as we receive them. 8) Payment: Unfortunately, we cannot pay you for your articles and reviews, but we will gladly link back to your own website (if you have one) and make sure that any articles and reviews are fully credited to the person submitting it.
